Thank you to all of the hikers, sponsors and donors of Wilderness Heals 2011!
Wilderness Heals is a three-day pledge hike to raise funds for the
Elizabeth Stone House. As our largest fundraiser, the hike raises much-needed flexible funding that helps us meet the needs of the families we serve. The
Elizabeth Stone House helps individuals and families rebuild their lives after experiencing domestic violence, mental illness, substance abuse and other forms of trauma. The Stone House provides residential and non-residential programs, as well as an emergency shelter for those who are in immediate need.
By reaching out to the
Elizabeth Stone House through your involvement in Wilderness Heals, you are sharing in our commitment to break the cycles of violence, disempowerment, and institutionalization that afflict adults and children in distress. With the generous support and interest of people like you, we can continue creating an environment where families can heal and individuals can grow and reclaim control over their lives.
